HANDMADE IN NEW YORK GIFT FAIR

The Ink Pad presents the very best handmade items in the NYC area including greeting cards, beaded jewelry, polymer clay and much more. Bring your holiday shopping list and shop with approximately 30 local vendors. We’ll have some refreshments and a stamping demo table as well.

CHRISTMAS TAGS

Come whip up some Christmas Gift Tags and add a hand made touch to all of your gifts. You will emboss, glitter, color, layer and punch our way through a slew of tags to dress up the holidays and brighten every present under your tree.

INTRODUCTION TO STAMPING

This ultra complete class will teach you all the basics. You’ll learn why there are so many types of ink pads, which paper to use & basic coloring methods. Great for new stampers & those who need a refresher on what’s new in stamping.

CANVAS TOTE BAG

Luminescent acrylic paints & decorative stamps are used to create a beautiful mosaic pattern on a sturdy black tote bag. Use it to tote around your holiday gifts or give it as a wonderful holiday gift.

MASTERPIECE CHRISTMAS CARDS

This unbelievable & fast paced class will show you about 10 very different & exciting card ideas using glitter, gold paper charms, punches, embellishments & more.

ACETATE PHOTO TRANSFER
Class with Mark - $29

In this class, you will learn how to transfer any photo onto acetate to use on cards, books, journals, etc. Combined with a rich background of gold or copper, you will create an image evocative of ‘vintage daguerreotypes’. Students are welcome to bring copies of their own photos. These must be made on professional COLOR copier on the BLACK & WHITE setting.

PAINTING WITH EMBOSSING POWDERS

Tuesday, December 13
7:15pm – 9:30pm
Using embossing powders in a new and exciting way, learn how to control them on stamped images to create beautifully colored depth in your cards. You will use this technique to fashion background and focal images …very beautiful!

We reserve the right to cancel a class with fewer than 4 people.

As a courtesy to your fellow classmates and to the instructor, it is crucial to arrive on time.

Class Kit:
Students must bring scissors, cutting mat, an X-acto (craft) knife, glue stick, double stick tape, bone folder, pencil, and ruler. Any additional items will be listed in the class description.

NOTE: All classes on Saturday, September 24, Saturday, October 8 and Saturday, October 29 will take place at the Westbeth Community Center located at 55 Bethune Street (between West Street & Washington Street). For those of you taking more than one class, you may bring lunch.
