Cancellation Policy: Payment in full is required for classes at time of registration. Students canceling up until 1 week prior to the start of a class will receive a full refund, less a $5.00 cancellation fee; after that time, refunds will only be made if a replacement student is found. As a courtesy to our teachers and students, please arrive on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for a class, you will be seated at the teacher's discretion. Anyone not seated will forfeit fee and place in class. Please bring basic kit to each class: Scissors, double-sided tape, notebook or paper for notes, with pen or pencil.

Distress Ink Exploration

Ranger Distress Ink is more than just ink to stamp with. Come and learn how to push your ink pads to reach their potential! Julie will share a ton of fabulous techniques with you and you will leave the class with a collection of beautiful tags. Please bring the following items to class: Craft sheet, spray bottle of water, rag or paper towel, Inksentials Ink Blending Tool, Blending Foam (at least 5), scissors, favorite stamps, favorite punches, patterned paper (at least one, 12" x 12" sheet you can stamp on}. Tape Tips 101

If you have been to the rubberstamp conventions you might have seen Darlene doing demos with the Stampland stamps, tapes and dusters to create cards in minutes. In this class you will learn how to use Color Duster brushes and the unique Eclipse masking tape to create special effects quickly and easily. Using only basic stamp pads for color you will learn: Gradations, Stripes, Grids, Frames, Plaids and Shadow Boxes, all quick and easy ways to add interest to your stamp projects. It takes very little time to master these basic techniques that will make your stamped projects look anything but basic. Bring your colored pencils, scissors, a ruler and
everything else will be provided.

Marbling on Paper & Fabric for Beginners

Remember the beautiful, multicolored patterned papers you often see in the covers of old books? You can learn to make them yourself in this one-day (or two-day) workshop class. We will learn many of the traditional patterns, such as the Peacock, Stone marble, Spanish wave, Feather, Nonpareil, French curl, and more. We will learn proper use of the necessary marbling ingredients such as alum, carrageenan, and gall. We will work on both paper and fabric. Each person will have their own marbling tray and they will be able to make up to 15 marbled sheets to take home.

Dramatic as it is charming, Batick is a traditional craft that we will modernize with basic stamping supplies.
